Some people say that it's possible to watch too much TV, spend too much money at movie theaters or even own way too many DVDs and Blu-rays. Bill Kuchman thinks those people have no idea what they're talking about. In fact, if those people really think that, why are they even on this website? Seriously. Some people ...
To be a pretend movie critic or an imaginary pop culture expert (actually, aren't all pop culture experts imaginary?), one would need a resumé to back that claim up. Well, Bill has seen an estimated 850 movies (including every film nominated for the Oscar for Best Picture several years running), watches at least a dozen hours of TV a week, devours books and graphic novels, and has a bizarre knowledge of everything you would never need to know about pop culture.
If anyone has a contact with VH1, please let them know that Bill's dream of making it to the World Series of Pop Culture was crushed when the network failed to renew the show. He swears that he would've won though. And there's no way anyone can prove otherwise now. Your move, VH1.

Seth Pohorence
Senior Popculturology writer
If it's obscure, Seth Pohorence knows it. If it happened over 30 years ago, Seth knows it. Despite growing up without cable, Seth has absorbed enough pop culture for several lifetimes.
You have to understand that as an official doctor in comedy, Seth has spent his life watching sitcoms and Mel Brooks films. He has the ability to see comedic timing and stale jokes before it happens.
Though to truly understand Seth is that you have to know that he loves vintage beer commercials from the 1980's, Clint Eastwood westerns, new wave albums and foreign films made by Stanley Kubrick.
You can follow him on Twitter at @spohorence to get thought-provoking prose that will change your life in 15 minutes or less.
Anton Ali
Contributing Popculturology writer
It's not just movies, television and music that keep the world moving for Anton Ali — it's all things surrounding pop culture.
It's a rough job, but someone has to watch Gangnam Style over and over again. He doesn't have much of a memory when it comes to normal conversations, but when the moment comes, he'll be ready to have a length conversation on the valuation of Beanie Babies at their peak. Anton even keeps a collection of these to this day, but he swears it's purely for the sake of their historical significance.
From an early age, movies have always been a big part of Anton's life. What's especially important to him is the preservation of film's history. Not many people can say one of their favorite actors growing up was Jimmy Stewart, or being able to hold his own at a young age in a conversation about Sal Mineo's performance in Rebel Without a Cause. Don't get him wrong though, if Space Jam ever had a sequel, he'd be first in line.

Lindsay Campbell
Contributing Popculturology writer
Despite living in the digital era, Lindsay Campbell likes to keep things old school. She still finds herself buying print issues of Entertainment Weekly and Vanity Fair to catch up on her close "friends" in Hollywood. Her roommates tease her when she comes home with actual DVDs, but she can’t help but fuel her addiction of watching movies with the commentary on.
Lindsay is also a major fan of all things Saturday Night Live, which can probably be attributed to the moment her dad bought her the DVD Saturday Night Live: Best of Gilda Radner. Ever since popping that DVD in, her lifelong goal has been to stand in Studio 8H and host SNL ... and attend the after party. When Lindsay's not driving her friends crazy with random behind-the-scenes facts about movies and sitcoms, she's most likely wandering around New York City looking for celebrities, checking out how long the SNL stand-by line is and adding movies to her Netflix and Amazon queues.
You can follow her on Twitter @Lindsay0021 for random facts about Kristen Wiig and rants about her love of cheese. One time, Casey Wilson even retweeted her.

Growing up, Scott Pukos wanted to be a Teenage Mutant Nina Turtle. Or a Ghostbuster. Or, if possible, both. Though he still occasionally fights Foot Soldiers, Scott eventually turned to writing for a career. While he spends his days (and sometimes nights) writing for a newspaper, Scott uses his spare time to consume pop culture. (Translation: He watches a lot of TV).
His favorites include The Matrix, The Big Lebowski, LOST, Larry David comedies, Chuck Palahniuk novels, Brian K. Vaughan comics and Arctic Monkey songs.
