Jason Clarke Won't Be Back for WAR OF THE PLANET OF THE APES
When apes and humans collide in War of the Planet of the Apes, Jason Clarke won't be back to fight for either side. The actor confirmed to Yahoo Movies UK that he won't be back for the upcoming sequel to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
He told us an emphatic “no” when we asked him if he’d back for the third ‘Apes’ film, saying that the film’s possible plot had been discussed “a little bit” but that he wasn’t at liberty to divulge any further info.
Clarke not returning for War of the Planet of the Apes fits the pattern established between Rise of the Planet of the Apes and its sequel. Neither James Franco or Freida Pinto returned for the most recent installment in the Planet of the Apes franchise.
Things didn't go well for the humans in Dawn of the Planet of Apes, but with the next movie promising war, the next cast will be much better prepared to take on Andy Serkis' Caesar. Gabriel Chavarria will be one of those actors.
War of the Planet of the Apes is set to open on July 14, 2017.
