Check Out a Gallery From the New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Trailer

The new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted on Thursday — and it's amazing. There's such thing as manly tears, right? I'm going with that. Here are 22 images from the new trailer.

First off, we have a crashed X-wing in front of a downed star destroyer on the desert planet Jakku. Director JJ Abrams revealed during Star Wars Celebration on Thursday that we're not on Tatooine anymore.

With what sounds like the beginning of Luke Skywalker's reveal to Leia from Return of the Jedi, we got an image of Darth Vader's charred helmet ...

... R2-D2 with who appears to be Luke Skywalker under a cloak ...

... and finally someone handing a lightsaber that looks a lot like the one that once belonged to Anakin Skywalker before going to Luke to who we're pretty sure is Leia. After mentioning that the Force was strong with his father, himself and his sister, Luke than says "you have that power too" to someone. Who's he talking to? Rey?

A different shot of the Resistance X-wing squad we saw flying over water in the first teaser trailer.

Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron piloting one of those X-wings.

Adam Driver's Kylo Ren igniting that awesome new (ancient?) lightsaber.

Daisy Ridley's Rey, BB-8 and John Boyega's Finn running from an explosion.

 Rey again.

Kylo Ren using the Force.

A lineup of stormtroopers in front of the First Order insignia.

Some new TIE fighters.

Some of those new TIE fighters under attack from another TIE fighter.

Finn in his stormtrooper gear.

Kylo Ren's shuttle approaching a giant star destroyer.

Gwendoline Christie's Captain Phasma in her chrome stormtrooper gear.

BB-8 hiding.

A TIE fighter chasing the Millennium Falcon into the engines of a downed star destroyer.

Another Falcon shot.

A TIE fighter pilot on the tail of the Millennium Falcon.

Rey offering a hand to Finn.

"Chewie, we're home." Melts.
