It's Hammer-Lifting Time in Extended AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer

According to Marvel Studios' original plan, we were supposed to get the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron during last night's episode of Agents of SHIELD. Since that trailer leaked and was then officially released last week, Marvel decided to give Agents of SHIELD viewers something different: An extended Age of Ultron trailer that included the party scene from the San Diego Comic-Con trailer.

What's the party scene, you ask? While the first trailer we got for Age of Ultron was pretty dark, the Comic-Con trailer started off with the members of the Avengers hanging out and taking turns trying to life Thor's hammer. Tony Stark couldn't do it, not even with help from his Iron Man gloves and Rhodey. Captain America was able to move it the tiniest bit. Black Widow passed. Finally, Thor tells them there's a simple reason they can't move it: They're all not worthy.

With this scene back at the beginning of the trailer, we lost Ultron's line about "showing us something beautiful," but we did gain some humor in an otherwise pretty bleak trailer. It's pretty cool to see all the Avengers hanging out ... until Ultron shows up.
