It was announced on Tuesday that Jay Chandrasekhar will direct Yogi Bear 2. Why is this newsworthy, you ask? Well, Chandrasekhar is best known for his work with the Broken Lizard guys, making movies like Super Troopers and Beerfest. Not quite the family friendly type of movie that 2010's Yogi Bear aimed for.
I'm also posting this story as excuse to share the awesome (fake) alternative ending to Yogi Bear. Do yourself a favor and go watch The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford if you haven't seen that film yet, and then come back and watch this version of how Yogi Bear should've ended.
